What we do > Finance
Finance
We all know the importance of financial security and sustainability and the logical thought and pre-planning involved in doing so.
Our Finance workshops teach the basics of everyday budgeting and saving, managing personal finances, as well as practical tasks of opening a bank account, applying for SAAS and a mortgage.

Key objectives
-
To increase independence and responsibility in young people by allowing them to manage their own budget and take pride in what they earn.
-
To encourage prioritising spending and setting goals to avoid the influences of impulsive purchases.
-
To teach the importance of saving and techniques to help do so, ensuring a healthy focus on being actively ready to fund future ambitions.
-
To encourage young people to not only save money to provide for themselves, but to also recognise the merits of charitable donations.
